WHAT IS CORE MVMT?

CORE MVMT is a community-minded, movement studio offering small, group fitness classes focused on strength building and personal development. Join us for an intense yet rewarding 45-minute Pilates class that works your entire body. Instructors aren’t fitness robots—they’re real, authentic humans who show up as themselves and meet you exactly where you are. Everyone is invited. We believe fitness should be accessible, studios should be welcoming, and classes should be judgment free. We’re trying to be the change we want to see in the fitness industry.

I’M A FIRST-TIME CLIENT. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

Welcome to CORE MVMT! Here’s what you can expect in your first class:

  • Warm Welcome: OurPlease note: For membership cancellations, we only accept written notice via email. Informing an instructor or texting the studio phone number does not constitute a formal cancellation request.instructors will greet you and make you feel comfortable in the studio. Since it’s your very first time, arrive at least five minutes early to get acquainted with the studio and receive essential safety instructions to ensure you have a comfortable first experience.
  • Full-Body, Low-Impact Workout: Get ready for a 45-minute Pilates workout on our reformer machines. Our classes are designed to challenge your core, improve flexibility, and leave you feeling invigorated.
  • Mind-Body Connection: We focus on mindful movement and connecting with your body. You’ll be guided to pay attention to your form and breath, creating an energizing experience.
  • Supportive Environment: Our classes are designed for all levels, from beginners to experienced movers. Our instructors will offer modifications and personalized attention to ensure you feel supported throughout the class.
  • No Mirrors: Don’t worry about how you look – focus on how you feel! Our studio is mirror-free to encourage you to connect with your body and embrace the joy of movement.
  • Post-Class Glow: Expect to leave feeling energized, accomplished, and ready to take on the world!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND BRING TO CLASS?

Wear comfortable, fitted athletic clothing and grip socks. Fitted clothing allows for more accurate form adjustments from our instructors, but the most important part is that you feel comfortable in your own skin. So, you do you, boo. Grip socks help you maintain control of the carriage and prevent slipping (we sell them at the studio for $10 if you need a pair!). And bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.

WHAT AMENITIES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE STUDIO?

We strive to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for our clients. Here are some of the amenities you’ll find at CORE MVMT:

  • Water Refilling Station: Stay hydrated with our complimentary water refilling station. Please bring your own reusable water bottle, as we do not sell single-use plastic bottles.
  • Cubbies: Securely store your belongings during class in our cubbies. However, we recommend leaving valuables at home, as we are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • Grip Socks: CORE MVMT branded grip socks are available for purchase at the studio for $10.
  • Towels: Fresh towels are provided for your convenience.

WHAT IS YOUR LATE POLICY?

We begin classes promptly at the scheduled time. To ensure a smooth and focused experience for all participants, we do not allow late entry into classes. The front door will be locked, and no exceptions will be made. Please plan your arrival accordingly.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We understand that plans can change, but we ask that you please cancel your class at least 6 hours before the scheduled start time. For single classes or class packs, a late cancellation or no show will result in the loss of the class credit. For memberships, late cancellations within the 6-hour window will incur a $15 fee. No-shows will be charged a $30 fee. These fees are in addition to the loss of class credit.

WHEN DOES THE SCHEDULE OPEN FOR BOOKING?

Our schedule opens for booking at different times depending on your membership or class pack:

  • Unlimited Membership: Enjoy the ultimate flexibility and plan your workouts well in advance – our schedule opens 90 days out for Unlimited members!
  • 4x, 8x and 12x Memberships: Schedule your classes 30 days in advance.
  • Class Packs: Book your classes 14 days in advance.

This system ensures that our most committed members have priority access to the schedule, while still offering ample booking time for all.

HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?

Want a spot in a full class? Add yourself to the waitlist! You’ll need an active membership or class credit to secure your spot. You’ll be automatically added if someone cancels, up to 6 hours before class. We will let you know you’ve been added to the class via email and text message.

When joining the waitlist, it is advised to treat it as a regular reservation – add it to your calendar and plan to attend. You can remove yourself from the waitlist at any time without penalty, but once you’re added to the class from the waitlist, standard cancellation and no show policies apply (see above).

HOW DO I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?

We’re sorry to see you go, but we understand that circumstances change! To ensure your membership cancellation is processed correctly, please send an email to info@thecoremvmt.com at least 10 days before your next billing date.

CAN I SHARE A PACKAGE WITH A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND?

Yes, of course—your people are our people! Please inquire about adding someone to your account by emailing info@coremvmt.com.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

You will feel something the second you’re in your first plank—our machines really wake your body UP! The soreness after the first few classes is no joke, but you will get so strong, so fast. Physical changes in the body are usually seen after only 6 classes! Mental, emotional, and spiritual shifts will happen often and consistently.
